Designed off the back of the Athlete series, the Jackson Pin Tail Tune Lures have the same shape and swimming action but are much heavier to allow for extremely good casting distance when fishing from the shore, and they're also fast sinking to fish the entire water column and get down amongst the monsters when they're hanging low.
The action of the Jackson Pin Tail Tune Lure is a nice and relatively tight wobble that you can feel at a range of different retrieve speeds, typically anything from a medium to fast pace works best with a constant wind, or even a continuous jerking action.
The Jackson Pin Tail Tune 27 is the smaller of the two and is suited for targeting fish like salmon, tailor, kingfish, mackerel and small tuna.
The bigger Pin Tail Tune 40 is quite a lot bigger and is perfect for targeting bigger kingfish, Spanish mackerel and any other big pelagic species. This size also features wire-through construction for extra strength and durability. NOTE: the Pin Tail 40 does not come rigged with hooks.
There's also a smaller 6g version of the designed specifically for trout, bream, bass and other finesse estuary species.
